2 Corinthians 1:12-24


Among the many trials we face, few are more devastating than false statements made against us. They may be made against our conduct—things we didn't do; against our words—things we didn't say; or against our motives—things we didn't mean. Paul experienced all three. We see his defense in 2 Corinthians…


“Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves…with integrity and godly sincerity.”  2 Corinthians 1:12 (NIV)


But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not “Yes” and “No.” For the Son of God, Jesus Christ…was not “Yes” and “No,” but in him it has always been “Yes.” For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ.”  2 Corinthians 1:18-20 (NIV)

  3. Whether you respond assertively, or with silence, never take
