2 Timothy 3:1-17

Examples Of Spiritual Quicksand: (2 Timothy 3:1-9)
1) Too much love for yourself, money, and pleasure.
2) The Un’s: ungrateful, unholy, and unforgiving.
3) Loss of self-control.
4) Disrespecting parents
5) Being overly religious yet empty
6) Using people
7) Undermining leadership and truth

Quicksand Facts: (2 Timothy 2:1-9)
1) It appears to be more solid than it is.
2) Once you step in it, it can pull you deeper.
3) To get out of it, you usually need to get rid of something or call for help.

Getting Back On Solid Ground: (2 Timothy 2:10-17)
1) Do what is right even if there is a high cost.
2) Let Scripture do this in your life:
Teach= Truth and insights from God
Rebuke= A loving wake up call
Correct= Deciding to make a positive change
Train=Walking in a new way
3) Be active in doing work for God.
