GREATER INTIMACY
1 Corinthians 6:12-7:40

Singleness:
1) Cultivate purity by honoring God with your body. (6:19-20, 7:9)
2) The Bible elevates your position- you are not inferior. (7:1, 7:8)
3) You have tremendous freedom both in drawing near to God and in using your gifts to accomplish the Lord’s work. (7:32-35)
How are you maximizing this season?

Marriage:
1) This blessed union will also include additional challenges. (7:28, 7:34)
2) Separation is a drastic step that is temporary and used to facilitate reconciliation. (7:10-11)
3) Make the effort to stay together, stay close, and stay equally yoked. (7:12-16, 7:39)
4) Finding your greatest contentment in the Lord is a gift to your spouse. (7:17-24, 7:31)
What does your relationship need?

Physical Intimacy:
1) Don’t let it master you. (6:12-18)
2) It is designed by God only for marriage, and it is very good. (7:3-4)
3) God’s purposes are: procreation, protection, and pleasure. (7:5)
