BEING HUMBLED


Daniel 4:1-37

Humility and Hope: (Daniel 4:1-18
)
1) Spontaneous praise comes from a heart of gratitude.

2) God specializes in handling issues that feel hopeless.

3) There is a pure joy in telling what God has done.

4) The Holy Spirit’s work goes beyond your natural abilities.

What Does This Mean? (Daniel 4:19-27)

1) You are surrounded by opportunities to comfort other people.

2) You might need to be a servant to someone who doesn’t deserve it.

3) When you become a blessing to someone, you will probably receive a great blessing.


Becoming Humble: (Daniel 4:28-37)

1) You might be the last person to notice your stubbornness and pride.

2) God cares enough about your character to develop it-reflect on what He is teaching you.

3) A heart at peace with God is good for your mind and body too.

4) Choosing to revere God in a situation results in true humility.
