Senior Pastor

Pastor Jesse Bradley joined our staff in 2008, after serving at North Coast Church (Vista, CA.) and Parkview Church (Iowa City, IA.) the previous 10 years. Jesse has also served at First Presbyterian Church (Santa Rosa, CA.) and Park Boulevard Church (Oakland, CA.).

Jesse also played professional soccer as a goalkeeper in Zimbabwe, Africa (Highlands F.C.) and Scotland (Rothes F.C.). He graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Psychology, and also holds a Masters Degree in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary.  Jesse enjoys working with a wide range of people. His passions include developing leaders, preaching, helping people discover Jesus and incorporate their faith into everyday life.  Jesse and his wife, Laurie, have three children: Joel, Silas, and Liliana.

Forrest grew up in our church and joined our staff in 2007.  He and his wife Sami have two children, Tyson and Claire. He graduated from William Jessup University with a degree in Bible and Theology and from Lincoln Christian Seminary with a Masters degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling.  Overseeing  Jr. High, High School, College, and Young Marrieds ministries keeps Forrest very active. He is a gifted teacher and leader with a great laugh.  He enjoys hiking, golfing, reading, playing games with friends and family time. He also helps coach track and field at Analy High School.

She has been leading the worship for our contemporary service for almost 6 years and became the church Worship/Music Director in December of 2007. The music programs here are diverse so that you can find a way to express your creativity. If God has given you a passion for music, we invite you to join our team.

We also celebrate and encourage those with artistic abilities: actors, dancers, painters, photographers, poets and authors.  If God has blessed you with a gift for working in the technical areas of the church, we have an incredible team of people working in sound, lighting, video, powerpoint , and CD and DVD ministries. Although we strive for excellence in all of these areas, having a humble heart and sharing our love for Jesus is our goal!  Sara enjoys meeting with people and helping them discover their abilities and role in the church.

Sue and her husband Gene have been members of our church for over 35 years.  The church has been truly blessed to have Sue as our secretary for almost 22 years.  She shows love to everyone and at the same time is able to get all of her jobs done too.  Please call the office for any help you might need.

Missions

Kathy McCarty, RN MSN has been serving at Chidamoyo Christian Hospital in the bush of Zimbabwe for over 25 years.  Kathy grew up in our church, and we are honored to be able to fully support her.

Kathy is the nurse in charge who oversees the hospital. Patients receive not only quality health care but the good news about Jesus as well. She is a pioneer in the treatment and education of AIDS patients. People walk for miles just to seek care at this hospital.  This is the only available hospital for over 70,000 people in her region. She was a recipient of the 2008 Nurseweek's humanitarian of the year award - previous winners were Paul Newman and Rosalind Carter.  Many people from our church go to Zimbabwe to assist Kathy with her work.

Daryl and her husband Manuel moved from Southern California to Sebastopol in the Summer of 1989, and they knew right away that Sebastopol Christian Church was where they belonged.  When asked if she wanted to serve, Daryl immediately joined the choir and began directing special groups, children, and teens.  Her son Miguel does a great job on drums at our second service, and her husband Manuel and daughter Joanna are gifted singers.

Daryl is honored to serve in our music program and is very proud of the diversity in our services. She feels that God blesses her more through music than she can ever bless Him.

Oma is our beloved church grandma. She's responsible for overseeing the care of our babies from birth to two years. You can count on Oma and her sweet spirit every week. Many parents and children are grateful for the consistant and loving care that Oma provides.

Paul serves in the sound booth on Sunday mornings.  He graduated from Santa Rosa Christian School and now is a student at Santa Rosa Junior College. His desire is to work in the sound production industry.  Paul has been a steady servant and a great addition to our team.

Pianist

April faithfully plays the piano for our church services and is a special blessing to the choir, where she not only plays piano, but sings as well. April teaches piano, volunteers at her daughters' school, and directs the children's choir. She and her husband Tom live in Sebastopol with their two daughters, Kelly and Julia.

Tom keeps everything running smoothly in the sound department. He started working in audio at a Christian radio station when he was 16 years old. Now he works for KRCB, national public radio, as an operations supervisor. He and his wife, April, both serve the church in the music ministry.

Marsha is a humble woman who does an incredible job taking care of the church's facilities. Many people help, but Marsha is the leader of this important ministry.  Marsha and her husband Lloyd both use their musical gifts together in our first service.
